MUDWORKS STUDIO is an inclusive local ceramics studio that provides classes for folks interested in wheel throwing, handbuilding, and slip casting. We also offer studio memberships for ceramicists wanting a place to work and a source of community and creativity.

  • We offer private lessons and events on Fridays and Saturdays with start times between 12 PM and 6 PM. Booking is required 2 weeks in advance.

  • Generally, we have a no refund policy but exceptions can be made for certain circumstances.

  • If you miss a day of class, you can make it up by sitting in on another class or coming in during open studio hours and asking for help as you need.

  • We bisque fire at Cone 04 and glaze fire at Cone 6 using an electric Skutt Kiln. We plan to offer Cone 10 firing in 2025 with a gas kiln.

  • Yes! There is generally a lot of parking and the neighborhood is very safe.

  • Yes! We have speckled buff, b mix, and a rotating third clay. We also have a lot of recycled clay at a discounted rate.
