Private Lesson Policies

  • (ALL LESSONS)

    Lessons must be scheduled 2 weeks in advance at the minimum.

    Fulfillment of the emailed invoice secures the date and time of the lesson. The invoice must be fulfilled within 3 days of receiving it, or else the requested date and time will be forfeited.

    (PACKAGE LESSONS)

    The glazing lesson must be scheduled for a date within 1 month of the initial lesson at the absolute maximum. Exceptions may be made under unforeseen circumstances or if discussed with your instructor.

    If a second lesson is not scheduled within 1 month of the initial lesson, whether due to lack of response or consistent rescheduling, all items made in the private lesson will be forfeited and claimed by the studio and a refund will not be granted.

  • Rescheduling is up to the discretion and availability of the instructor. Please use your Calendly confirmation link to reschedule, or email your instructor.

    Excessive rescheduling is not permitted and may result in lesson cancellation at the studio’s discretion, and no refund will be granted.

  • Cancellations at least 1 week prior to the date of the lesson will be granted a complete refund.

    Cancellations within 1 week of the scheduled lesson are subject to a partial refund with an $80 service fee.

    Cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled lesson will not be refunded.

  • Cancellations at least 2 weeks prior to the day of the scheduled lesson will be granted a complete refund.

    Cancellations at least 1 week prior to the scheduled lesson are subject to a partial refund with a $160 service fee subtracted.

    Cancellations within 1 week of the scheduled lesson are subject to a partial refund with a $160 service fee in addition to the following:
    6 days remaining (25% of lesson costs)

    5 days remaining (50% of lesson costs)

    4 days remaining (75% of lesson costs)

    Cancellations within 72 hours of the scheduled lesson will not be refunded.

  • Pottery tools and equipment can pose a level of risk, such as needle tools, metal ribs, and knives. Please exercise awareness and caution, and listen to your instructor’s advice.

    We may require private lesson students to wear an N95 or similarly protective mask for the duration of their lesson. We will let you know during the scheduling process whether this will be required or not.
