CERAMIC BUTTONS WORKSHOP
In this two day workshop, you will learn the basics of clay. You’ll have a choice of porcelain, b mix, or speckled buff clay and an endless selection of glazes.
DAY 1: We will also go over the basics of nerikomi, marbling, and sgraffito techniques. The day will consist of form and design - mostly including the use of a slab roller, carving tools, and other texturing techniques.
DAY 2: After DAY 1, the clay will have been bisque fired and ready for glazing! We’ll go over various different glazing techniques.
The buttons will be ready for pick up the first week of February. This workshop includes the cost of clay, glaze, and firing.
